If you’re interested in your child continuing tennis through Term 2, one option is to register interest for private squads. This is suitable for players of all ages who have been attending club programmes this summer.
These will be small ratios of approximately 1:4 (coach:student) and are a great opportunity to build skills faster compared to larger club programmes. For competitive players, it can also be easier to build technique outside of interclub season.
Squad Details:
Our squads run for seven weeks during the school term, with allowances for wet weather cancellations. Each session lasts one hour and takes place at Grey United Tennis Club.
The term fee is $150, due upon squad confirmation. Payment plans over six weeks are available—just ask!
(No refunds for missed lessons due to illness, school commitments, holidays, or other reasons.)
Choosing training times:
Players will be grouped by skill level and the most suitable time for their level. When filling out the registration form, please select ALL possible training days to give your child the best chance of being placed in a squad.
If there is no squad available due to conflicting timetables or lack of players then I would recommend private 1 on 1 lessons during the term which are available. For some players that are keen to progress to playing outside of the region then doing both of these options are encouraged as they both have different complimentary benefits to the player.
